Black Tea

Hua Xiang

Hua Xiang (floral aroma) is a style of Lapsang Souchong grown on the famed slopes of the Wuyi Mountains in Fujian province, China.   Comprising dark slender leaves and buds, it produces a bourbon-red brew with hints of honey and Wuyi rocky mineral flavour.  The lingering  aftertaste is reminiscent of a fruity oolong with a delicate floral aroma.  A delicious tea, true to its name.

Fujian Province

Fujian Province is a famous tea growing region located along the south eastern coast of China. It provides a treasure trove of some of the world’s finest teas, such as the broad-leafed, pine smoked Lapsang Souchong, the highly regarded Wuyi cliff oolongs such as Da Hong Pao (Big Red Robe) and Ti Lo Han as well as the ball-rolled Tieguanyin (Iron Goddess).   Fujian Province is also historically linked to the cultivation and manufacture of fine white tea.
