Description
Preparation: 1 tsp per cup boiling water, brew 3-5 mins. Honey optional.
Ingredients: Hibiscus, strawberry, raspberry, blueberry, berry leaves, cornflower, blue rosehip, apple and sultana
ICED TEA
Quick Chilled Method serves 2:
3+ tsp Wild Berries
1 cup boiling water
1 cup cool water
1 -2 tsp sugar of choice for sweetening (optional)
500ml teapot or larger, preferably with an infuser
Directions:
Add tea to teapot, then pour over boiling water. Brew 5 mins. After 5 mins remove infuser and discard the tea leaves. Stir in sweetener (optional) and then add cool water to the brew. When ready to serve, pour tea over 2 glasses filled with ice.
Optional: Garnish with cinnamon stick and/or berries
Cold-Brew Method serves 4:
4 tsp Wild Berries
1 litre cool water
1-2 tsp sugar of choice for sweetening (optional)*
Directions:
Add Wild Berries to the fine mesh strainer of the Unitea Cold Brew Carafe. Rinse berries by pouring over strainer a small amount of boiling water. Discard water. Add cool water to the carafe. Secure the strainer into the lid and brew for 8 hours with lid on in the refrigerator. Remove strainer. When ready to serve, pour with the lid on and serve over glasses filled with ice.
Optional: Sweeten with sugar of choice*. Garnish with strawberries and slices of orange
*Tip: Dissolve sugar in a couple of teaspoons of hot water before adding to the chilled brew. Sweeten to taste.
