Description
Ingredients: Indian Black tea
Origin: India
Preparation: 1 tsp per cup, 3-4 mins at 90˚C
Iced Tea
Cold-Brew Method serves 4:
4 tsp Darjeeling Thurbo
1 litre cool water
1-2 tsp sugar (optional)*
Directions:
Add Darjeeling to the fine mesh strainer. Pour cool water into the carafe. Secure the strainer into the lid, and brew for 8 hours with lid on in the refrigerator. Remove strainer. When ready to serve, pour with the lid on and serve over glasses filled with ice.
Optional: Sweeten with sugar of choice. Garnish with lemon, a sprig of mint and/or strawberries.
*Tip: Dissolve sugar in a couple of teaspoons of hot water before adding to the chilled brew. Sweeten to taste.
